Wild Walking offer different grades of walks, from a vigorous romp to a vertically challenged march and everything in between.
We offer:
Our aim is to bring to others what we have found in the great outdoors, so that you too, can make the most of our beautiful countryside.
Like most people we started walking in a very modest way using cuttings from newspapers and guide books, we quickly decided that we wanted to see more of the remote parts of the countryside and, after making a decision to walk 'coast to- coast' we enrolled on a navigation course. This opened up a whole new world to us and now we can wander with confidence where ever we like and enjoy the full magnificence of what we have available to us.
We offer guided walks for those who prefer, or we can instruct you in navigation skills to enable you to walk the wilderness alone.
We also specialise in group walks and would be delighted to arrange these on your behalf.
With regard our key members of staff, Allen is a qualified mountain leader and Christine is currently finishing her course as a trained Walking Group Leader.
They have both undertaken some 'serious' walking in Scotland, The Lake District, Derbyshire (Kinder), Dartmoor and Exmoor.
They have also completed most of the well known long distance walks such as 'Coast-to- Coast', 'The Pennine Way, 'Offas Dyke' and 'The Dales Way'.
